Early 1900s
The history of Casa Serra began around the 1930s when Carlo Felice Cerrato moved to the Collina Serra in Montegrosso Cinaglio and began raising the first cattle of the Piemontese breed.
1950s
Over the years, Collina Serra was transformed through the hands of Secondo, Carlo Felice’s son, who also began to engage in viticulture.
1990s
The baton was passed on to Carlo Felice’s grandson, Carlo, who together with his wife Onorina devoted themselves to barn-raising the French cattle breed.
2017
Carlo and Vittorio, his nephew, chose to embark on a new path, which is still ongoing. The hillside once again takes center stage in the life of Casa Serra: the land is given back to the woods, and the vineyards give way to vast meadows on which various breeds of cattle, raised on a grass-fed (grass and hay), can freely graze.
2020
In 2020, the e-shop www.casaserra.it was inaugurated with the desire to bring the authenticity and taste of quality meat into the homes of Italians, guaranteeing customers a healthy and balanced diet.
2021
In the cascina, which tastefully blends traditional materials and design, the Casa Serra Eco-Resort & Wellness opens its doors, a corner of paradise that offers all the necessary amenities, including a Wellness Area, tastings, private parking, and free Wi-Fi for a sensory experience full of benefits.
